U.S. House Rep Walorski (R-In) Killed In Car Crash

Indiana Rep. Walorski killed in car crash, her office says – WFYI Indianapolis, 2022/08/03

Republican U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski was killed Wednesday in a car accident in her northern Indiana District, according to her office.

“Jackie’s husband, was just informed by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s office that Jackie was killed in a car accident this afternoon. She has returned home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.


Walorksi, who served on the House Ways and Means Committee, was first elected to represent Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District in 2012. She previously served three terms in the state’s legislature.

Walorski, 58, was born in South Bend and lived near Elkhart, Indiana. She and her husband were previously missionaries in Romania, where they established a foundation that provided food and medical supplies to impoverished children.

Terrible to hear. Good to know hear that she was a Christian that is now home with the Lord. We never know when our time is up.

Congresswoman Walorski, three others killed in Elkhart County crash – WSBT South Bend, 2022/08/03

The crash happened about 12:30 this afternoon on State Road 19… between Nappanee and Wakarusa.

Police say a northbound car crossed the center line… hitting the vehicle Walorski and two others were in.

Zachery Potts and Emma Thompson were in the vehicle with Walorski and also died.

Potts is the St. Joseph County Republican Party Chairman… and Thompson worked for Walorski.
