James Comey Hearing: Full Transcript of Ex-FBI Chief’s Testimony

Cliff Notes…

  • Trump was never under investigation per Comey.
  • Loretta Lynch influenced wording that Comey used with regards to Hilary Clinton’s email controversy.
  • Regarding the conversation between Trump and Comey. He felt something was wrong, but did not tell the Attorney General – but did give his notes to a friend at the Columbia Law School (Daniel Richman) to leak to the press. He never took notes about his conversation with Loretta Lynch.
  • Trump “hoped” Flynn would be cleared, which does not violate the law.
  • Comey agreed that the three things Trump requested were (per Rubio) – number one, be loyal; number two, let the Mike Flynn thing go, he’s a good guy, he’s been treated unfairly; and, number three, can you please tell the American people what these leaders in Congress already know, what you already know, what you’ve told me three times — that I’m not under — personally under investigation?
  • The Russians never altered the election per Comey. They tried, but were unsuccessful.

State Department Official Charged for Talking with China, Obstruction

30 May 2017

2017/03/29 – State Department Employee Arrested and Charged With Concealing Extensive Contacts With Foreign Agents – Dept. of Justice

“Candace Marie Claiborne is a U.S. State Department employee who possesses a Top Secret security clearance and allegedly failed to report her contacts with Chinese foreign intelligence agents who provided her with thousands of dollars of gifts and benefits,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General McCord. “Claiborne used her position and her access to sensitive diplomatic data for personal profit. Pursuing those who imperil our national security for personal gain will remain a key priority of the National Security Division.”

“Candace Claiborne is charged with obstructing an official proceeding and making false statements in connection with her alleged concealment and failure to report her improper connections to foreign contacts along with the tens of thousands of dollars in gifts and benefits they provided,” said U.S. Attorney Phillips. “As a State Department employee with a Top Secret clearance, she received training and briefing about the need for caution and transparency. This case demonstrates that U.S. government employees will be held accountable for failing to honor the trust placed in them when they take on such sensitive assignments”

Donald Rumsfeld on “The View”

26 May 2017

Donald Rumsfeld on The View. He is not exactly someone I would think would go on the show, but it was for a good cause.

He brings some sanity to the election results and the Trump/Russia investigations. Whoopi Goldberg is just awkward and aloof in general.

Wasserman-Schultz Threatens Police Chief with “Consequences”

24 May 2017

2017/05/24 – Wasserman Schultz Threatened Police Chief For Gathering Evidence On Her IT Staffer’s Alleged Crimes – The Daily Caller

The police chief does a good job holding his ground for her 3 minutes of repeated questioning. This is regarding the Pakistani IT staffers who hacked into numerous DNC and government agency computers, and were eventually fired and are under investigation.

The Florida lawmaker used her position on the committee that sets the police force’s budget to press its chief to relinquish the piece of evidence Thursday, in what could be considered using her authority to attempt to interfere with a criminal investigation.

As one of eight members of the Committee on Appropriations’ Legislative Branch subcommittee, Wasserman Schultz is in charge of the budget of the police force that is investigating her staffer and how he managed to extract so much money and information from members.

The back and forth starts at around 2m 45s into the video.

2017/05/24 – Brennan: ‘I Don’t Know’ If There Was Collusion – Daily Caller

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) grilled ex-CIA Chief John Brennan on evidence of U.S.-Russia collusion, forcing Brennan to admit he doesn’t actually know if there was any collusion.

“I saw interaction,” Brennan said. “But I don’t know. I don’t have sufficient information to make a determination whether or not there was cooperation or complicity or collusion.”

Still nothing on this after months of investigations.

“I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse,” Weiner said, apologizing to the 15-year-old girl to whom he sent sexually explicit images and messages last year.

The charge of transferring obscene material to a minor carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, but Weiner is likely to get less. As part of his plea agreement, federal prosecutors said they would consider a term between 21 months and 27 months “fair and appropriate.”

Weiner will be sentenced on Sept. 8.

Where did this all start… back in 2011 with the reporting of Andrew Breitbart. Weiner eventually apologized to Breitbart for attacking him for his reporting on the issue. Six years later, it is finally being dealt with – both publicly and privately within Weiner himself. Hopefully he can get himself to the point where he is making solid life decisions.

16 Mar 2017

Oklahoma state senator charged with child prostitutionUPI

Prosecutors announced Thursday they charged Oklahoma state Sen. Ralph Shortey with three felony charges after he was found last week in a motel with a teenage boy.

Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn announced the charges, which include soliciting prostitution of a minor, prostitution within 1,000 feet of a church and transporting for the purpose of prostitution.

He will have his day in court.  But it’s not good when the police report finding a “strong odor of raw marijuana emitting from the hotel room.” Lotion and a box of condoms were found in a backpack within the room.
