Total Population non-Institution (16+) – 252,969,000
Employed – 151,075,000 (59.7% pop; 95.3% wf)
Unemployed – 7,413,000 (2.9% pop; 4.7% wf)
Out Of Workforce – 94,481,000 (37.3% pop)

March 2016
Total Population non-Institution (16+) – 252,768,000
Employed – 150,738,000 (59.6% pop; 94.9% wf)
Unemployed – 8,116,000 (3.2% pop; 5.1% wf)
Out Of Workforce – 93,914,000 (37.1% pop)

The civilian population rose 201,000.
Those officially considered as unemployed decreased 703,000.
The number of those employed increased 337,000.
Those that are considered as no longer looking for employment increased 567,000.
